The Marquis Marc
René de Montalembert created the Ruelle forge
in 1751.
The company has followed changes in French policy and
strategy and adapted to modern manufacturing techniques,
which means that France has been able to cut the number
of its weapons while maintaining the same level of performance.

The DCN site at Ruelle is a branch of the DCN
group, the prime contractor of complete armed naval
vessels from design to post-delivery maintenance. It
is dedicated to designing and developing equipment for
surface combatants and submarines in two mechanical,
electronic and computer-related activity sectors.

Several of the equipment systems produced by DCN Naval
Equipment are grouped into product ranges and sold in
France or abroad (foreign sales represent 40% of its
activity).
