REGIONAL FUNDS
The Poitou-Charentes region and most particularly the Charente Department has shown has shown its decisiveness by setting up a unique aid scheme for creation and production that is most useful on a European and national level.
The signature of an agreement between the “CNC” the “Conseil Général” and the Charente Department, that stipulates :
An aid for script writing: 4,000 € to help with the development of scenarios that promote regional themes. A pilot funds aid of 8,000 € for the development of new productions. Preference is given to projects that are likely to go into production.
Aid for the production of short films and documentaries.
Aid for multimedia.
Aid for feature film fiction.
Aid for the production of cartoons limited to 15,000 € per episode and 25% of the amount spent in Charente. Full length animated films are treated the same way.
